MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to external services. Think of it like a USB port for AI agents. Foremen is an MCP server — any tool that supports MCP can connect to it and access project memory.
No. Foremen sits alongside your development workflow. It connects to your AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, etc.) via MCP. Your codebase stays exactly the same. Agents read and write context through Foremen's tools, not your source code.
Any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol. This includes Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code (with Copilot), Windsurf, ChatGPT (via Connectors), Warp, Zed, and any custom MCP client. If your tool speaks MCP, it works with Foremen.
Yes. Every customer's data is encrypted with their own unique key. We use row-level security so no customer can access another's data. We don't store your source code — only project context like architecture, lessons, and decisions. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Not currently. Foremen is a managed service. For Enterprise customers with strict compliance requirements, we offer dedicated encryption keys (BYOK) and can discuss deployment options. Contact sales for details.
Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation. You can export your project data at any time. After 30 days, your encrypted data is permanently deleted. Since we can't read your data anyway, deletion is straightforward.
